when the feeling’s gone and you can’t go on…

tragedyit happens over there but you feel it over here even though it doesn’t have anything to do with you. a wreck of royalty, a schoolhouse massacre or an act of bombing with an airbus, all calamitous yet localized in their immediate effect…so why emotionally appropriate them? where is the sense in the meaningless life becoming meaningful by defining itself by the senseless? it’s truly comedic befitting the greek theater that the nature of modern existence entails embracing that which we are dissociated from so that we may vicariously derive pleasure from tragic.
