one thing is for sure…

boy banddid it burn? did it fade away? the alternate promise of a cultural and musical renaissance of the underground in the late twentieth century is now something less than a nostalgic footnote in history, but the root of its decline and fall is not in such tired concepts as corporate creed, polished production, a friendlier radio format, the dès vogue of lumberjack couture, or commercialization and commodification for mass consumption; alas the downward spiral begins far beyond the acceptance of society, in the town of “o”, where a mere man and his love of boys fluttered his butterfly wings and set in motion a hurricane of cultural destruction that ravaged the musical landscape of the late twentieth and early twenty first century from which none have recovered.

“well I guess it would be nice if I could touch your body…”
